Syrac Inspirations responds to Brexit vote stating marketers will cope

The results of the EU referendum, where the UK voted to leave, have left many business owners in fear of their futures. However, Syrac Inspirations confirms that marketers will be able to cope with the changes to come.

The UK voted to leave the EU by 52% to 48%, with ‘Vote Leave’ winning the majority of votes in England and Wales, while every council in Scotland saw Remain majorities (BBC). This has left the majority of remainers and indeed leavers pondering the quite unique situation the UK now finds itself in, with many attempting to work out what the individual long-term implications of the referendum will be for themselves.

The UK was widely regarded as one of the best places in Europe to launch and develop a business. Voting Leave has undoubtedly undermined this claim and the future of Britain’s entrepreneurial innovation and growth is slightly uncertain. However, the truth is that no one really knows what the long-term implications or benefits will be of this result; there are so many negotiations yet to take place and so many details left to iron out. Syrac Inspirations believes that whilst taking an interest in the political stability of the country is healthy, the firm is quick to assure fellow sales and marketing professionals that their future will remain bright in the UK. This is because Syrac Inspirations believes marketers will be able to cope with any possible changes and budget cuts that could appear on the horizon.

Indeed, marketing is still seen as an operational cost by some companies and is therefore at risk of being cut or trimmed in the wake of any response to a shrinking economy. GroupM, WPP’s media investment business, issued a forecast ahead of the vote predicting a £220m drop in advertising spend this year in the event of a Leave vote (Marketing Week, 2016). However, Syrac Inspirations believes the industry as a whole is in a much better place in 2016 than it was in 2008 when the unprecedented financial crash caused panic and many companies now actually see marketing as a revenue generator as opposed to another cost to be cut.

Syrac Inspirations is a Sheffield-based sales and event marketing firm that supports businesses in increasing their market exposure and generating more sales. Through face-to-face marketing the firm are able to build strong connections with consumers and personalise the customer experience. The firm works with a wide range of companies and due to their pay on results policy, they are able to conduct meaningful market research and run engaging marketing campaigns on almost any sized budget.

Due to their flexibility, businesses will still be able to take advantage of Syrac Inspirations’ outsourcing services as they work on a no win – no fee model that guarantees results. The firm believes that this will continue to be an extremely valuable asset to both the company and their clients moving forward, as it demonstrates that their business model can adapt to the changes and shifts in the economy.
